In my previous post from November 15th, 2007 I have announced that I had submitted two designs for the Firework design contest from Lesli Fireworks on the website www.vuurwerkplanet.nl. And now I am proud to say that I won the contest with my flowerbed design!

It’s a bit quiet here, but its temporary  I have ordered my fireworks for New Years Eve. Friday I can pick them up. I will make some photos and place them in my photo gallery on this website!  On New Years Eve I’ll try to film everything with my camera and post the movies here.

This 48 inch shell appeared in The Guinness Book of Records. Yonshakudama (japenese name for the shell) weight 450Kg. It arrive at 850 meter hight and explodes with a bloom 800m in diameter.

The Dutch fireworks website vuurwerkplanet.nl has a contest with a price. To enter the contest you have to create a design for a rocket or for a flower bed. The one with the most original and beautiful design wins for € 250,- fireworks. Well even if there wasn’t a price I would apply for this contest. I’m not really a designer. I don’t find myself creative enough to call myself a designer, but I think I know Photoshop very well. So here is where I came up with!

Well do you like it? (leave a comment please ) I hope so! If nobody likes it, I never win the contest. Well I have uploaded my designs to the contest website, now I have to wait if the designs are going to be approved for the contest. If so, I will leave a little tutorial here so you can see how you can vote on my design if you like to!?
